Pictures from nature in SW Florida. Here are a few pictures from the last few months. A fish kill a few months ago brought out the vultures to clean up. You usually see them up high. This time it was easy to catch them in flight. Great Blue Herons were nesting on the other side of the pond. The 200-500mm reached across for a shot I could crop to a useful size. 8216;Til we meet again.
Pictures from nature in SW Florida. A Cormorant was having a fine time splashing about while a Little Blue Heron stalked the edge. It was a certainly a pleasant half hour to stand by the pond. A few from Puerto Chacabuco the trip to the town was through the Chilean Fjords and they were spectacular.
Punta Gorda, FL 33950 US. The City of Punta Gorda proudly unveiled its new Marina spring of 2007. Laishley Marina is located in Laishley Park on the shoreline of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River. Charlotte Harbor, the second largest harbor in the State of Florida, offers world-class fishing and access into the Gulf of Mexico at the vicinity of Boca Grande.
